The History of Minerva
The history of the Minerva area is as rich as the agricultural valley in which it is located. Founded in 1818 by John Whitacre. Minerva resides in three counties - Stark, Carroll and Columbiana.

The photo at the left is just one of a series of twenty four historical photos which have recently been digitally restored by local photographer, Tim Wright.  These beautiful photos are available to the public in sets of four.  Contact the Haas Museum for details!!!
